Renderz

Vectorworks workflow

Create photoreal visuals from Vectorworks views

Move from BIM and drafting to atmosphere without rebuilding your project. Export a clear Vectorworks view, elevation, or perspective, then use Renderz to explore materials, planting, furnishing, weather, and light for faster design communication.

01 · Workflow

A simple workflow from Vectorworks to Renderz

Use the views already prepared for your design review.

01

Prepare a clear view

Open the perspective, elevation, or shaded 3D view that best communicates the design.

02

Export an image

Save a high-resolution image with visible geometry and minimal interface clutter.

03

Direct the rendering

Describe surfaces, furniture, vegetation, daylight, and atmosphere, then generate visual options.

02 · Vectorworks

From BIM information to visual decisions

One project, more visual options

Use the same underlying design view to test finishes and moods without duplicating the BIM model.

Architecture and landscape

Add visual context to buildings, interiors, and site designs through one prompt-led workflow.

Presentation speed

Produce early visuals while detailed Renderworks setup or specialist visualization is not yet justified.

Useful Vectorworks-to-visual workflows

Interior perspectives

Explore furniture, finishes, and lighting from an exported room view.

Landscape proposals

Communicate planting character, season, and atmosphere around a clear site composition.

Planning presentations

Turn elevations and building views into accessible images for clients and stakeholders.

Vectorworks and AI rendering questions

Does Renderz open Vectorworks files?
No. Export the view you want as an image and upload that image to Renderz.
Can I use a Vectorworks elevation?
Yes. Clean elevations can guide material and façade studies. Perspective views are preferable when you want a photographic result.
Does this replace Renderworks?
Not necessarily. Renderz is useful for rapid visual exploration; a traditional renderer remains valuable when you need deterministic scene control and exact technical output.
Can landscape views be rendered?
Yes. Include legible terrain, paths, planting zones, and buildings in the source, then describe species character, season, and light.
