AutoCAD and AI rendering questions
- Can Renderz open DWG files?
- No. Export the plan, elevation, or 3D view as an image first, then upload that image to Renderz.
- Can a 2D plan become a perspective render?
- A plan is best suited to a top-down rendered plan. For a photographic perspective, use a 3D view or perspective source with visible depth.
- Should dimensions and annotations remain visible?
- Hide annotations that should not appear in the final image. Keep only lines that help the AI understand the design.
- Is the result a construction document?
- No. The render is for visualization and communication. Use the original CAD drawing for dimensions, coordination, and technical decisions.
